SICVD — Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases
Cardiac hospital in Nawabshah with 55 beds, providing free cardiac care as part of the world’s largest free cardiac healthcare network.
Services: 24/7 cardiac emergency, primary angioplasty, paediatric cardiac care — all free of charge. Stroke intervention services also being introduced.
History: Initially established 12 April 2018 at Peoples Medical University Hospital; later shifted to a purpose-built facility.
BIUT — Benazir Institute of Urology and Transplantation
Tertiary care hospital near Khoja Garden, Nawabshah — 300 beds, founded in 2023 by Dr. Azra Pechuho.
Services: Free kidney and urology treatment so residents no longer have to travel to Karachi for such care. Emergency department available.
